On Saturday, June 25th, enjoy Acorn Pork Hawaiian Style and then on Sunday, June 26th, enjoy it paired with a delicious Connecticut craft beer! From 9pm – midnight on Saturday at Junzi Kitchen in New Haven, their late-night menu is being transported to the islands. Jordan Waters, the chef behind ramen pop-up Doom Noodle, is taking over the kitchen to serve up delicious Hawaiian inspired eats with lots of opportunity to enjoy our Acorn Pork. And Jordan is a master at complete nose-to-tail cooking, so this will truly be a local, sustainable, and delicious experience. The menu includes pig head rice, tongue saimin, pineapple rice balls and more!
Then on Sunday evening from 4pm-7pm enjoy an incredible five course meal paired with delicious Thomas Hooker Brewery local craft beers at Chamard Vineyards in Clinton, CT. This will be a one of a kind, classic American food & beer experience that includes a pulled Acorn Pork sandwich!
